Nice Manners is a music and audio post house nestled in the hills of Mt. Washington, Los Angeles. It was founded in 2011 by trusted composer, sound designer, and post mixer Joanna Katcher. NM’s work has been part of Emmy winning series, BAFTA-nominated games, award-winning docs and all manner of comedy. We believe in creative partnerships, quiet confidence and never sacrificing beep for bop - we just won’t do it.

We begin every voiceover demo with a call to get to know you — because the strongest demos are built around who you are. You’ll start with an introductory meeting with Joanna Katcher and our copywriter so we can learn about you: your goals, strengths, and the kind of work you want to book.
As an audio engineer and creative director, Joanna has recorded and produced countless voiceover sessions over the past 20+ years. Our copywriter is a seasoned professional with wide-ranging credits — everything from comedy to commercials to professional eulogies — and she’s exceptional at capturing tone with clarity and specificity.
From there, we handle the full demo: completely customized scripts, direction, music selection, sound design, and a polished, high-impact master — so you leave with a demo that feels unmistakably you.
